A letter to Ashraff

Dear Ashraff,

You have been scolded way too much these few days. At times I gave up. I am totally tired whenever I had to get stern on you. I also feel bad that I made you explain yourself every time. So, here I am, writing you a letter because the next day, I am unsure if I would sound as sincere as I really am feeling for you.

Here’s what I hope, Ashraff.

Just let the rest of the class do their things. Perhaps by now your role as the class monitor does not get the rest to listen to you, but that’s okay. What is more important is you already did your duty.

Do not talk when you don’t have to. It will make you in the bad hat not those around you.

So, I’m sorry, Ashraff. I don’t mean to hurt you but maybe as I want things my way, I had also did it the wrong way towards you. I hope to get this clear for you and yeah, you are as you said, “saya ni nampak je macam ni teacher, tapi saya pandai. I read a lot.”  It’s the read-a-lot-Ashraff is what is missing now, Acap.

Sincerely,

Your Teacher.
