If you are runing a tuition center and facing failure in maintaing the reputation, here might be the possible 5 reasons for tuition center failure:

1 Becoming the boss too early

It is as clear as crystal the fact you open up your own tuition center is because you want to be your own boss. You may want to enjoy the freedom of time that you never had when you work for other people, but becoming the boss too early is not the traits you should nurture in yourself. You may physically be the boss in your office, but when it comes to work, you and your staff should stand on the same par. No one is higher nor greater than anyone else.

When you first open up your tuition center, there are a lot of ground work to do and you could probably just hired a staff or two at this stage. Therefore, they are in need of your constant guidance at this stage and you too should get down onto the ground to execute your plans for the tuition center. There is no point in scolding the staff whom you probably don’t even share your business objectives. Instead, work as a team. You and them. There is no fear about doing more than your hired staff because after all, it is your business; not theirs.

2 Spoon-fed is you

Have you ever said this to yourself or other people? “The franchisor did not tell us what to do about this…” If you are in denial having said this before, you better wake up now because you are too dependent. The reason why the franchisor is not answering you for the thing that is irritating you at the moment is because either the problem is too lame for them to handle or they probably know that you are just their other spoon-fed franchisee. Look, this is boring, frustrating and tiring to both; you and them.

The one thing that you need to do is to start gearing for another hike in your business. You are not going to drown into your problems and should start paddling again. Stop waiting to be told. That is exactly not what a business person is. True the franchisor is responsible to show you the way but you are the captain of your own ship, no one is truer than your instinct.

3 Negativity fits in you nicely

The major of all the 5 reasons for tuition center failure is You are too negative. You foresee more problems than opportunity in everyday operation cycle. While it is a good trait of a boss to foresee before others, but in any case of our life, sitting on a problem instead of finding solution will never you good. Shift! Instead of worrying, prepare and take action. The most crucial activity that hinders your tuition center failure is none other than taking action. Sometimes you may not even know if your action is right or wrong,it’s okay. Being a business person is about taking risk. If you are worried of taking risks, well, you may not make the cut to be a business person, please turn back into employment where your salary is guaranteed each month (is it really guaranteed, though?)

you are the captain of your own ship, no one is truer than your instinct.

4 You do too much

Hello boss, you’re bogging yourself! It is a common mistake among new tuition center operator to be doing all things by themselves fearing that someone else will steal their ideas. Well, it is true that tuition center or education premises alike are easy to be operated and copied but to keep all ideas to yourself will wear you down and eventually will make your staff work blindly while you become the donkey of the company.

Move on! Stop doing too much. Instead, delegate the easiest work to your staff and take only the biggest responsibility to yourself. As such, planning work should be your whole responsibility but having your own staff should open door to you to have ideas from someone else. Your staff should be the best someone else  to be helping you with your plans for the company.

5 You do too little

Again, one of the possible 5 reasons for tuition center failure is,  it’s either you are doing too little because you become the boss too soon or you simply had fallen into the drain that stuck you with the thoughts that bosses do not need to do much for their business because they had hired people to do work for you. BIG MISTAKE!

I will never understand how this group of tuition center operator thinks that they are successful enough while taking too little actions that can drive them to success. It is definitely the opposite. You are driving your tuition center to failure if you are do too little. There is also a difference between not working, being lazy and being strategic.
